While our culture may not be as diverse as others, it's rich in its own unique way, deserving of respect and consideration from outsiders. However, our government-driven society often finds itself entangled in negativity, with each administration facing criticism and scrutiny.
As every election season approaches, the flaws of the previous administration are often used as ammunition against new campaigns. Nepotism may be a reality in our tight-knit community, where everyone is connected somehow, stop the hate.
As a proud daughter of the CNMI, I love my islands and believe in their potential. With compassion, good ideas, and gradual progress, we can overcome our challenges and thrive. As a US Territory, we have resources at our disposal, and with careful planning, we can sustain ourselves and build a brighter future.
