Debbiann Selepeo, 21 years old, proudly represents the Carolinian community.
She is a proud Carolinian woman and describes the Chamorro and Carolinian heritage, culture, and history - "is about the community and people of our Chamorro and Refaluwasch culture and our pride."
Her role model is her mom and family - "because they always do their very best in supporting my decisions and they are always encouraging me to strive for what I want to achieve."
Currently, Debbiann is a part-time babysitter. She hopes to pursue a career in social work, as she would like to give back to the community and serve as an advocate under the Division of Youth Services.
As a contestant for the Miss Northern Marianas Descent Beauty Pageant, she hopes to gain - "more confidence and knowledge about both cultures, and also a better personality (to stop being shy and intimidated)."
