In the aftermath of Super Typhoon Sinlaku, many individuals, families, businesses, and organizations were left not only with damaged homes and livelihoods, but also with the overwhelming task of navigating disaster recovery assistance.

Recognizing this need, LAM stepped forward—not as a government agency or a representative of any federal organization, but as a trusted community partner dedicated to helping our people move forward.

As a community-based nonprofit organization, LAM provides technical assistance to residents, businesses, and organizations by helping them complete applications, organize required documentation, navigate online assistance portals, and connect with available disaster recovery resources. We understand that these processes can be overwhelming, especially for seniors, persons with disabilities, busy working families, and those with limited access to technology. Our goal is to make the process easier and more accessible for everyone.

Whether you visit our office in Kanat Tabla or prefer assistance at your home or workplace, our team is committed to meeting you where you are. We proudly offer on-site visits to homes, businesses, and offices—including assisting employees during their work breaks—because no one should have to choose between earning a living and receiving the help they need.

Drawing from our experience serving the community after Super Typhoon Sinlaku, we work alongside individuals with compassion, integrity, and respect, helping them understand available recovery resources and guiding them through each step of the application process. While LAM does not represent FEMA or any government agency, we strive to ensure that every resident has access to the information and support needed to pursue available assistance.
