2026 Miss Northern Marianas Descent 1st Runner-Up

The 1st Runner-Up is the contestant who finishes in second place and will assume the duties of Miss Northern Marianas Descent if she is unable to fulfill her reign. She may also have her own responsibilities, appearances, or special awards during the reign.

2026 Miss Northern Marianas Descent 2nd Runner-Up

The 2nd Runner-Up is the contestant who finishes in third place and will assume the duties of Miss Northern Marianas Descent 1st Runner-Up if she is unable to fulfill her reign. She may also have her own responsibilities, appearances, or special awards during the reign.

Best in Heritage & Tradition

This award goes to the contestant who best embodies, showcases, and communicates her culture and traditions through attire, stage presence, and demonstration of a traditional practice.

Best in National Costume

This award goes to the contestant who represents the best national costume that truly reflects and represents our islands.

Best in Cultural Gown

This award goes to the contestant who best showcases her culture and heritage through a gown made of live plants and natural resources from the land and sea, reflecting creativity, craftsmanship, and storytelling.

Best in Grace & Beauty

This award goes to the contestant who best embodies confidence, self-assurance, and pride in her appearance, regardless of body type, while expressing how she represents herself and her culture.

Miss Karinosa

This award is voted on by the contestants and goes to the contestant who is kind, helpful, patient, and goes out of her way to make everyone’s experience warm and enjoyable.

Miss Kuttura

This award is based on attendance and participation throughout the 7-day workshop, recognizing the contestant who was most engaged and committed during the sessions.

Miss Photogenic

This award goes to the contestant who receives the highest vote from each media outlet.

Miss KKafisch wool

This award goes to the contestant who receives the most likes on the Miss Northern Marianas Descent Instagram page. Sending your likes ends on January 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

Miss Angaang Tchow

This award goes to the contestant who demonstrates outstanding entrepreneurial spirit by achieving the highest sales from the raffle tickets.
