Siana Tasi, 19 years old, proudly represents the Chamorro community.
She is a proud Chamorro woman and describes the Chamorro and Carolinian heritage, culture, and history - "as a fabric woven between the islands and the people. we're all connected by our blood and history, which we should carry within our hearts and legacy."
Her role model is her mom - "because the virtues she raised me with make me happy to be the woman I am now. She's a teacher both in and out of the classroom."
Currently, Siana is a student at the Northern Marianas College. She is currently working towards getting a degree in becoming a teacher.
As a contestant for the Miss Northern Marianas Descent Beauty Pageant, she hopes to gain - "more on cultural identity and experience rather than pageant identity. I am participating to express my heritage, strengthen my roots, and I hope to further these aspirations through this experience."
